The poor thing sat at it's climax with a Peace Corp flier in it for at least three months. I don't know what that means for the book... it was intersting and all. But there was a distinct lack of visceral newness. No strange beings; it's no rainbow bridge. So much logic and cool inhuman spockness that I never really liked Ender. Even when he was being as empathic as all hell... What does that mean...

Why is this book in this edition on sale for $49.68. I have that same edition... is it special... no. Weird.
